Aness and Ian are online marriage prep instructors.

It is through the singles ministry of the Couples for Christ, a Catholic family-renewal organization, that they met each other serving in the poor communities in their area. They were married in 2012 and have three children. Aness is an accountant by profession but is currently a stay at home mom. She used to work as a bank employee and as a public accounting practitioner. Ian has been a Values Education teacher in a public junior high school for 4 years. He also conducts recollections, values formations, leadership trainings and team building activities for students and employees. He used to work as a guidance counsellor at a university and HR practitioner in Batangas. They are actively serving in Couples for Christ in their area.

Audrey and Jason are online and live instructors for marriage prep, living in Colorado with their six children.

Beth and Ramuel are online marriage prep instructors.

Their love story began in Abu Dhabi in 1983. Beth, a dedicated cardiac nurse, crossed paths with Ramuel, who worked in the oil and gas industry. Their marriage in 1985 brought forth two wonderful sons. In 2000, they joined Couples for Christ, a Catholic movement focused on renewing and strengthening family life in Christ. Since then, they have been actively involved in CFC, its Family Ministries, and the impactful work with the poor program, ANCOP.

Beth and Ramuel are active propagators of the Divine Mercy devotion and are members of the Board of Trustees of St. John Paul II Learning Center Inc., a non-profit KG-Grade 6 inclusive school in Baguio City, Philippines.

Beth and Ramuel are currently based in British Columbia, Canada.

Brie is an online instructor for both Baptism and Quinceañera Prep.

As a “cradle Catholic”, Brie was raised in a devout home and attended Catholic schools most of her life. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Dallas and her M.S. in Biomedical Diagnostics from Arizona State University. Upon graduating college, she entered the military and served as a Logistics Readiness Officer in the Unites States Air Force for 7 years. Brie currently resides in South Carolina and works as a holistic health coach and manager of a telehealth clinic. She enjoys traveling, staying active, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with family (especially her 8 nieces and nephews).

Brie is grateful for the opportunity to share her faith and encourage others to grow closer to God and His Church.

Brittany and Evan are online Baptism Prep instructors and Brittany is also a Quinceañera Prep tutor.

I was born in Denver, Colorado and have 4 older brothers. I was raised in a Catholic family and have attended Catholic schools for most of my education. I attended Regis University in Denver, being involved with Students for Life and in 2016, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Peace and Justice. During my college years, my future husband (Evan) and I became best friends and in 2018, we were married at Holy Apostles Catholic Church. We have one child in heaven (Killian) who was still born, one beautiful daughter (Mina) who is two years old and one daughter (Amelia) on the way!

It is a great joy to be a part of Agape Catholic Ministries as I have always felt drawn to ministry. Both my husband and I volunteer at our parish in Youth Ministry and enjoy helping to bring God’s truth to others. I look forward to working with you!

Carmen and Rudy are from Peru where they met and got married in 1993.

In 2002, they moved to the USA for work and have dedicated more than 10 years to prepare couples to get married as well as form CMP instructors nationwide. They have a vast experience working with the Hispanic community and have given presentations on the Sacrament of Matrimony in several communities, in Arizona, Washington, Ohio, California, Louisiana, and Colorado where they live.

In addition, they are online CMP instructors for engaged couples and Carmen is a teacher and helps with the spiritual formation of the girls who will celebrate their Quinceañera Mass as part of a Hispanic tradition. They are both very active in their parish and lead the Natural Family Planning Ministry in Spanish for the Diocese of Colorado Springs.

Rowell & Cherrie are online Catholic marriage prep instructors.

Rowell and Cherrie started as friends as they both served thru Singles For Christ Ministry but in different chapters. Rowell served as part of the music ministry in SFC Abu Dhabi Chapter, UAE while Cherrie served as a servant leader in SFC Batangas Philippines. While working as a computer engineer and serving the Lord in Abu Dhabi, Rowell was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called panueivitis that lead him in gradually losing his vision so he left his job and went back to the Philippines. He contacted Cherrie so he can also serve as music ministry member in SFC Batangas Chapter. While serving the Lord, their relationship grew and started dating. Their relationship was tested because of Rowell’s worsening eye condition but putting God in the center of their relationship and having marriage in mind, they take a leap of faith. After 3 years of dating, they got married in 2016. Truly, their faith in God leads them together.

Emily and Brandon are both online Marriage Prep instructors.

They met during summer orientation before starting their freshman year of college and were married May, 2009, two weeks following graduation.

They are both cradle Catholics but didn’t develop a commitment and passion for their Catholic faith until their own Pre-Cana marriage prep. They have been blessed with four children and live in Eastern Iowa.

Emily and Jeff are online Marriage Prep and Baptism Prep instructors.

Emily and Jeff met through a young adult Bible study, and bonded over not only God's word, but also the ginger brownies at Jason's Deli after the meetings.

They were married in 2013 and have three children.

Jeff is a high school math teacher and Emily stays home and homeschools their children.

They currently live in Greenville, South Carolina, where Jeff grew up and where Emily moved to from New Jersey to attend college.

Emily enjoys cross stitching, Jeff enjoys woodworking, and together they enjoy cooking, playing board games, watching movies, and hiking as a family.

Froilan and Frelizza (Froy and Frel) are online marriage prep instructors.

Frel and Froy were college sweethearts. They live in the Philippines.
They got married in 2003 and have three children, 2 girls and a boy who are all now teen agers.
They were also members of Singles for Christ but it took a while before they decided to join the Couples for Christ in 2016 because they wanted to be ready to commit to the ministry.
Both Froy and Frel enjoyed joining the Music Ministry of Couples for Christ and were later on tasked as couple coordinators for Singles for Christ ministry. They also conduct pre-cana seminars at their local church. Froy is an Asset and Recovery Specialist by profession and Frel is an Audit Supervisor.

Hannah is an online instructor for both Baptism prep and Quinceañera prep.

Hannah and her husband Jose are deeply committed to their faith and to helping others prepare for important life sacraments. Hannah, a kindergarten teacher, also works as a prep instructor for quinceañeras and baptisms, guiding young people and families through these significant milestones. Jose, originally from Cuba, is a data analyst by profession. Together, they share a passion for faith, family, and service.

Married in 2024, Hannah and Jose love to travel, explore new cultures, and spend time with their dog, Leo. They are active members of their local church community in St. Petersburg, FL.

HongLan and Phi are online marriage prep instructors.

They were originally from Vietnam and moved to the U.S. in 1995. They met each other in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and got married in 2013. They have three beautiful children, two girls and one boy. They are now living in Austin, TX. Phi went to Louisiana State University for his undergraduate studies and Loyola New Orleans for his Masters. He earned his doctorate degree in Ministry from The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. Lan has a Masters in Nursing, but is now staying home with their three children. They have taught marriage prep for several years.

Irma and Mel are online marriage prep instructors.

Mel and Irma were classmates in High School. Upon graduation, they separated ways as Mel went to Manila to study Mechanical Engineering and Irma went to Los Banos to study Agricultural Economics. After they completed their college degrees, they met again in 1978 in Los Banos.

Mel and Irma have been married since 1980. They were blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren. They are active members of Couples for Christ since 1990. They are also actively serving in their Parish as Pre – Cana Speakers for couples preparing to get married in the Parish Church.

Jehanne and Olivier are online marriage prep instructors for French speaking couples.

Olivier is originally from Brest, Jehanne was born in Aix en Provence, at the Catholic maternity of the Etoile.

Jehanne is the second daughter of Christian and Christine. Olivier and Jehanne met in Rennes, while studying at the same art school, LISAA! Both experienced a profound conversion during World Youth Day in Rome in 2000. That same summer, they decided to get engaged. They were married on August 15, 2001.

They now live in southern Burgundy. Olivier is a graphic designer-illustrator and Jehanne is a stay-at-home mom. They have three daughters, Sarah, Leah and Clementine, and two sons, Gabriel and Samuel.

Jennifer and Scott are online marriage prep instructors.

Scott and Jennifer met through mutual friends in college, becoming friends quickly, and a year later, began dating. They married in 2006 and have since welcomed 9 beautiful children into their family, including a set of rambunctious twins. Scott is a software engineer and Jennifer is a homemaker and homeschools their children.

When they aren't busy with their children's activities and building back their house, they love to play board games, explore the outdoors, and build Lego sets together. They call Texas their home and they enjoy helping couples delve deeper into their faith so they can strive for holiness and joy in their own marriages.

Joanna and Danny are online marriage prep instructors.

They were married October 1st, 2006, and have five children. Danny and Joanna were both baptized Catholic, but their formation in the faith was non existent. Shortly after marrying, they were called back to the Catholic Church through prayer, reading, and studying Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Since then, they remain active in their parish in Spring, Texas and welcome opportunities to serve the Church, especially as a couple.

Following a calling from the Lord, Danny left behind his career in oil and gas to provide for their family through his passion of carpentry and handyman work. Following her own calling from the Lord, Joanna left behind the world of Family Law to be a stay-at-home mother who homeschools their children and loves to fill their home with delicious baked goodies.

Karen and Deano helped start the organization.

They are full time online instructors for marriage prep. They both graduated from Northern Arizona University. Karen's BS was in Applied Sciences and she became a Registered Dietitian specializing in the renal field. Deano graduated with BS in Accounting and is Exempt Organization Specialist with the IRS. They have five children and ten grandchildren. They live in Colorado.

Karen and Tyler are online marriage prep instructors.

They were both born and raised in North Dakota,
him from New Salem and her from Minot. They now live in Mandan, ND. They have been married since 2014 and have 2 boys (8 and 3) and one girl (6).

Tyler works for an electrical distribution company and Karen works as a Director of Religious Education.

As a family, they love playing outside, swimming, and visiting local zoos and parks.

In 2012, with both of us newly out of college and Dave beginning a new career as a theology teacher in Oregon, we each felt a tug—in separate adoration chapels—to join Catholic Match. Thirteen months later, we were married!

Since then, we have been blessed with three children, plus three in heaven. We now reside in South Carolina, where Dave teaches, leads youth group, and directs athletics at a classical Catholic school and church, while Katie has the privilege of working as a stay at home mom.

We are both passionate about sharing our faith, and we think Catholic marriage is the secret to making it till death do us part. We are excited to share our story with you!

Katie and Jeff are online marriage prep instructors and were married in 2016.

They reside in South Carolina where Jeff is an English and Latin Teacher, and Katie, a former in-classroom teacher, is a stay-at-home mom to their young children. They enjoy watching Downton Abbey, swimming in their pool, going for long walks, and anything that involves bieng outside. They wish not only to live as a holy family and couple, but to encourage other couples to seek holiness too.

Kimberly and Brian are online and live instructors for marriage prep.

Kimberly is also the Instructor Coordinator for Agapè Catholic Ministries. They are originally from California, having met each other in high school and continued their education until they married in 2001. They moved to Denver in 2005 to start a family and have four amazing children, two girls and two boys. Brian has a bachelor's in Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona in southern California. He has been a licensed architect for over 15 years and currently runs an independent architecture firm. In addition, he works full-time as a leading 3-D Design Instructor and Consultant for a local CAD company in Colorado to architects, contractors, and others in the industry. Kimberly has a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy with a background in progressive neurological disorders, concussion, and dizziness. She completed her schooling from CSU Northridge (California) and AT Still University - Arizona School of Medical Sciences. She is currently a stay at home mom, works as our Instructor Coordinator and periodically teaches as adjunct faculty at Regis University in the physical therapy doctorate programe. They have been live and online instructors with CMP since 2013.

Laura and Michael are online marriage prep instructors.

Michael and Laura met while teaching on the same team in Northern Virginia. Many people wondered how they could stand each other all day long but those were their favorite years as teachers! They got married on August 15, 2015 in Maryland where they resided for a few years and had three children. They then felt the tug to move South, so Mike took a virtual job and they traveled for a year around the east coast. It was wild! But in the end, they found their perfect home in Greenville, South Carolina.

Mike now still teaches remote from home and Laura homeschools their three (soon to be four) children.

Laura enjoys sewing, baking, and musicals. Mike enjoys doing lots of yard work outside…And together they enjoy hiking and just being fun and silly with the kids. They are grateful to God everyday for blessing them with the lives they lead and enjoy getting to know other couples on their matrimony journey!

Laurie and Frank are online marriage prep instructors.

Frank & Laurie met through a Catholic dating site on June 28, 2000. One year later, on June 29 2001, they were married in Tobyhanna, PA at St. Anne's Church, were Laurie was baptized. They lived most of their married lives on a lake in central New York, near where Frank was raised. After 18 years of marriage they made the decision to relocate to Greenville, SC with their daughter, Bernadette, who is 15 years old. Frank is a retired public school teacher, having taught highschool and middle school technology for over 30 years in Whitesboro, NY. He now works as a teacher's aide to special needs children. Laurie has an MA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville where she graduated in 1996. She has spent the last 15 years at home, raising her daughter whom she homeschooled through 5th grade. Their daughter is now in 10th grade at a Catholic school in Greenville.

Lisa and Mike are online marriage prep instructors.

Mike is in the army. They also specialize with preparing military couples.

They have been married for 30 years. They have two children and one grandchild. They live in the New York/New Jersey area.

Lori and Will are online marriage prep instructors, who were set upon a date through mutual friends.

Both graduates of Clemson University, they met during Homecoming weekend of 1996 and were married in 1999. Lori and Will reside in South Carolina with their youngest child. Their two daughters are away at college. They enjoy watching sporting events together, especially their son’s baseball games. Their small family farm keeps them busy tending to animals and gardening. Lori is active in the Women’s Council at their parish and Will is a volunteer firefighter. It is through a Sacramental Marriage that they have received the graces to persevere in the joys and trials of marriage and family life. They are committed to each other on the journey together to eternity and look forward to helping other couples on their journey to a holy marriage.

Lynn and John are Marriage Prep instructors.

They live in Wisconsin and they have been married since 1980. John is a parts manager for an agricultural company and Lynn is a teacher. They have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Some of their favorite activities include spending time with their children and grandchildren, road biking and watching and playing sports. These pastimes have filled their years together with fun and laughter. John and Lynn are actively involved in their church, as well. They volunteer for fundraising events, serve on the grounds crew team and Lynn is a religious education instructor. John and Lynn are extremely grateful for all of God’s blessings and feel very fortunate to share God’s plan for marriage with others.

Maddy and Jake are online marriage prep instructors.

Madeline and Jake are an Air Force family that are navigating life through God in order to keep their sanity with all the moves and challenges life brings. They enjoy family time, games, and being outdoors.

Maine and Jules are online marriage prep instructors.

Maine and Jules married in 1998 and although involuntarily childless, treating as their own children they have two orphaned siblings, their nephews to Maine’s brother who passed on in the same year and whose wife later in 2010. Maine, a registered nurse, is a trained NFP instructor. She is also a volunteer Catechist and Psychological First Aider. Jules is a practicing architect and engaged in design-build services. He is also a panelist of the Archdiocesan Building Committee of the Archdiocese of Lipa. Maine and Jules are born and raised Catholic, educated in Catholic schools and remain active in their Parish as Ministry for Family and Life Coordinators. The couple gives pre-Cana (Marriage Prep equivalent) talks. They live happily in Lipa City, Philippines, and are members of the Couples for Christ Archdiocese of Lipa.

Marisabel and Sean are online marriage prep instructors.

Sean and Marisabel met in college while Sean served as a missionary on campus. After traveling to Honduras on mission they began dating long distance. Married in 2018, they now have 3 children and live in Pennsylvania. Although they are from different backgrounds they find their rock in Christ. Their goal is to encourage couples to develop a God-centered relationship through the Sacrament of Marriage.

Sean now works as a financial advisor where he helps young couples and families with their finances. Marisabel serves as a Baptism, Quinceañera, and Marriage Prep instructor for Agapè.

Mini and Ernie are online marriage prep instructors from the Philippines.

They are college schoolmates and are both engineers by profession. They were married in 1988 and were blessed with three children. They joined Couples for Christ, a Catholic family renewal community in 1990 and are still very actively serving.

Renata and Rodrigo are online marriage prep instructors.

Rodrigo and Renata are from Brazil and have lived in Canada since 2018. They met in the Catholic Church, attended the same parish and helped as musicians, and event organizers, working with young people, prayer groups and various pastorals. They got married on July 16, 2010 (Day of Nossa Senhora do Carmo) and have 4 children. Renata is a Psychologist specializing in Logotherapy, Rodrigo works in the administrative area of a renewable energy company. They are honored to be able to help guide couples as they prepare for Catholic marriage.

Hi there! We are Jordann and Stephanie. We are highschool sweethearts and have been together since 2010, and married in 2017. We have 4 beautiful children and a husky fur baby. We currently live in the wonderful state of Michigan.

Tara and Dan are online marriage prep instructors.

Dan is a permanent deacon in the Diocese of Bismarck, ND. Dan also works as a manager at National Information Solutions Cooperative. Tara currently stays at home to tend to the Brooke family needs. They both love working in marriage preparation and are excited to be part of Catholic Marriage Prep. The couple lives in Bismarck, ND and they have 5 children.

Teresa and Paul are online marriage prep instructors.

Paul and I met in southern California in 1982. We dated for two years. Paul had not been raised in a solid faith and I was raised as a Catholic. We had many conversations as our relationship grew to a deeper level. What was it that we both desired, to be united in our faith and raise a family. In April of 84, Paul was welcomed into the church at the Easter Vigil. We got married on August 18, 1984. We have four beautiful children, three son-in-law’s and two beautiful granddaughters.

Theresa and Michael are online baptism prep instructors and were married in 2019.

They live in Pennsylvania where Michael is an Ecologist and Theresa, a former early childhood teacher, is a stay-at-home mom to their baby girl. They enjoy exploring new places and food, spending time outside, cooking and baking together, and playing with their baby girl! Theresa and Michael are passionate about their faith and love the opportunity to share it with others!

Valerie and David are Marriage Prep Instructors.

David and Valerie met in high school, have been together since 2006 and married in 2012. David is a Technical Support Engineer for a Geospatial Software Company and Valerie is an Applications Analyst for a Catholic Health System. We are from a small town in Northeastern Colorado where we enjoy the great outdoors such as camping, hunting/fishing. We enjoy spending time with our families, and our Boxer Tyson. In our free time, we are youth sports coaches, and volunteering as Marriage Prep instructors for our home Catholic Church. Which led us to joining the Agape Ministry as Marriage Prep Instructors to help couples in their journey to the Sacrament of Matrimony.
